At the top of the stairway, just off the entrance, is our upstairs sitting parlor, which is also the gateway to our guest rooms. This is a gathering spot for many of our guests. There is ample room for many people to gather for conversation, to enjoy snacks and beverages, or to just relax. This is where guests can relax with a view of the valley through the large picture window, a great spot to watch the wildlife on and around the patio. Guests can browse through the adjacent Meadows Inn guest library; exchange a book of theirs for one of ours, or pay a small fee to own the book, then settle down for a quiet read, play a game, enjoy a restful conversation or simply enjoy the view through the window while you relax in the parlor curled up on our period furniture. At 7:00am, we deliver freshly ground coffee and a freshly baked morning snack, for our guests to enjoy, while the hosts are busy preparing breakfast downstairs.
