Policies of the Meadows Inn


Reservation Policy
Your credit card will be charged upon confirmation of your reservation at the Meadows Inn. If you prefer making payments by check, please let us know when making your reservation. To assure confirmation of your reservation, we need to receive your check within seven days. Confirmations will be acknowledged by e-mail whenever possible.
Payment Policy
We accept personal check, cash or any of the illustrated credit cards. Unless other arrangements have been made, we will process your credit card at the beginning of the week you are scheduled to stay with us.
Cancellation Policy
Due to credit card processing fees, reservation cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee if payment has been made with a credit card. The minimum cancellation charge will be equal to 5% of the reservation fee charged to the card.
Individual Reservation Cancellation
There will be no cancellation penalty if you notify us of cancellation fourteen (14) days or more before your arrival date. If cancellation occurs less than fourteen (14) days before your arrival date, and the room is re-booked, there will be no cancellation penalty other than the 5% credit card processing fee. Additionally, if cancellation occurs less than fourteen (14) days before your arrival date and the room is not re-booked, we reserve the right to invoke a cancellation penalty equal to the full amount of your reservation.
Group Reservation Cancellation
There will be no cancellation penalty if you notify us of cancellation forty-five (45) days or more before your arrival date. If cancellation occurs less than forty-five (45) days before your arrival date, and the rooms are re-booked, there will be no cancellation penalty other than the 5% credit card processing fee. Additionally, if cancellation occurs less than forty-five (45) days before your arrival date and the rooms are not re-booked, we reserve the right to invoke a cancellation penalty equal to the full amount of your reservation.
Check-in Time Policy
If you do not arrive by our normal check-in time (between 4-7pm), without calling to make other arrangements, we reserve the right to process your credit card for the full amount of your reservation.
Lost and Found
Over the years, items have been left behind by our guests. We don't hold onto them beyond one season, however. If you have lost something, please contact us so we can get it back to it's rightful owner! We never contact our guests after a visit to protect their privacy.
